Hi Renee! I couldn't find an email for you so I thought I would reply to you here. :) Thanks for your comment! The table and chairs is one of my favorite projects still to this day... it just brightens up the room so much. I didn't use any special technique, really (I'm an amateur), just used a brush so that I could reach all the nooks and crannies. And I used plain ole Valspar latex paint. It has held up very well and I have no regrets! Good luck on your project! I hope it turns out great!
