Eric was reading “First Thousand Words of French” (Usborne) with Isaac and Dylan this morning. After they had been reading it for a while Isaac says, “Dad, you learned a lot of French!” Eric asks, “Isaac, are you going to learn French.” “NO!” Eric: “How are you going to talk with your friends at church?” Isaac: “I say BONJOUR!”
But, does he kiss them on each cheek? I think that is required too...Love you all!! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh oui! Les bises! (I think that's what they're called) The kisses is what that means maybe...I'm just glad we don't have to do that in class... =]
ReplyDeleteGuess what I just got an e-mail from my french professor and we're going to study literature and french history this next semester! I'm actually kind of excited!!!!
I've shared this story with the French speaking sisters in our Branch...they loved it.
ReplyDeleteBon jour mon petit ami! Je t'aime, Isaac! (et Benjamin et Dylan)
